Fun times to catch up with friends, old and new!

MAJOR EVENTS

  • Hampton Inn Hospitality Room--anytime from 3 pm Friday to Sunday at 3 pm.  Join us for snacks (including delicious cakes--one by our own gourmet baker, Lois Spruill! and one after the Saturday luncheon), catching up, stories you've forgotten or better yet, never told!, LATE NIGHT PARTY!!!)
  • Friday, October 10, 2025--catered buffet under the stars at the wonderful home of Marianne and David Farris, 129 Wildwood Ave., Rocky Mount, 27803, from 6 pm to 10 pm.  (BYOB!)
  • Saturday, October 11, 2025--Luncheon at Benvenue Country Club, 100 Southern Blvd, Rocky Mount, 27804, 12 pm to 4 pm
  • Cake, and goodies, etc., at the Hampton Inn Hospitality Room after Benvenue Country Club!

  • Nash County Farmers Market located at 1006 Peachtree St. will be featuring our own Scott Hartness and his band, SomeWhereBetween Acoustic!!!  Market opens at 8:00 am and closes  at 1:00 pm.
  • Rocky Mount Arts Center located at the Imperial Ctr., 270 Gay St., open from 10 am to 5 pm--impressive exhibits!
  • The Children's Museum located at the Imperial Ctr., 270 Gay St., open from 10 am to 5 pm--fun even for adults!

  • Rocky Mount Railroad Museum--can make an appointment to see https://rmrailroad.org
  • Check out Barbecue Park, 377 Morgan St, Rocky Mount, NC 27804-2828. It’s a small
    park but you will learn about Rocky Mount’s Barbecue tradition as you read the posted
    signs. You’ll also probably dream about Bob Melton’s BBQ, which stood on this location.
    The park has picnic areas as well as a natural spring dating back to the 1800s.
